Placement of the Magnetics

The GMX units are designed to be installed in the outside environment. GMX units are rugged and built to last a lifetime.

Place GMX units:

• At least 8 to 12 inches up stream of the area to be treated.

• At least 8 to 12 inches after any pump, filter or other turbulence causing device.

• On a straight section of non-ferrous (plastic, copper, rubber, PVC, or stainless steel) pipe or tubing.

Auto & Truck Placement

Place GMX units:

• At least 6 to 12 inches away from any high heat source.

• At least 12 inches away from automotive diagnostic control centers, computers, and sensors.

• The Model 400s must be mounted on the fuel line AFTER the fuel filter & pump and BEFORE the carburetor or fuel injectors.

1. Place both halves of the Model 400 against the pipe or tube to be treated.

2. Insert the nylon bolts through the holes in each half of the unit and secure with the wing-nuts. An extra set of locking wing-nuts is provided for more secure installations.

3. Tighten the wing-nuts unit they are snug. Do not over tighten !

NOTE: If the unit does not clamp securely to the tubing or pipe, place a sleeve of plastic or rubber over the existing line and re-install unit. This is recommended for tubing smaller than 1/4" O.D..

4. If a second unit is needed it should be mounted tandem to the first, spacing should be 1/2 inch apart (see diagram).

5. When installing two units in tamdem, the units should OPPOSE, not attract, each other. The labels should be the same direction.
